Francesca DeFranchis comes from Rome, Italy, where she earned a master’s in Marketing and Fashion from the Italian Fashion and Design Institute. Since moving to New York in 2000, she has consistently carved out her unique career by pursuing her passions and interests. In the eyes of those who know him, Salvatore De Gaetano “doesn’t have an age” and is characterized by an exceptional personality and an extensive professional history.
Everything started in the 1970s when Sal owned an apparel company that produced leather and suede jackets. In 1985, Sal`s brother Joeseph asked him for $50,000 to start a trucking and apparel distribution center for the Burlington coat factory.
$50,000 and a fifty-fifty partnership in a trucking business started between Joseph and Sal. It was a lucrative business until it lasted.
In 1997, Sal searched for more opportunities and fell into Cipriani’s world. After joining the Cipriani family as a captain, he developed a positive relationship with them due to his unique personality. One day, Giuseppe Cipriani asked: “Can you make this jacket?” Cipriani’s white jacket was born along with his career at Cipriani.
His commitment to work took little time, and in 2005, Sal founded a Uniform company, FRONTLINE Uniform, which rapidly expanded into the New York Hospitality business. Today, FRONTLINE Uniform covers all types of businesses requiring uniforms nationwide.
Time passed, but not for Sal, and when the world passed through COVID time in 2020, he gathered all his resources. It was in the early 2000s that he met Francesca DeFranchis, an Italian woman working for Cipriani. It has been a few years since Francesca and Sal met, but her business career has grown parallel. As a result of their shared passion, in 2020, they built a successful business venture to bring New York the elegance and service they know so well. This venture is FS Event Staffing INC.

As a food enthusiast, and especially as an ambassador of her beloved Italian cuisine, she has worked with and for icons of the food world. These icons include New York’s Cipriani and Barilla, Campari, Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto San Daniele, Grana Padano, and collaborations with celebrity chefs such as Maneet Chauhan, Denis Franceschini, and Heinz Beck.
Her career in the event business started in 2006 with the Cipriani group. Since then, her passion has allowed her to master all aspects of customer service in the hospitality industry. In 2020, she founded FS Event Staffing with her Partner, Salvatore DeGaetano, another pioneer of the NYC Event Industry.
